What Drives SuccessAs an Assembler (I) at our Wheeling, WV location, you will play a critical role in our production process, preparing components and assembling parts to create finished products, including painting, finishing, and insulating.
What You Will Be Doing- Follow instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to perform assembly tasks.
- Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products.
- Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
- Perform other limited assembly, fabrication, production, or operator tasks as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (education and experience).
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate basic machinery (e.g., Waterjet).
- Ability to paint and work with insulation.
This is an hourly non-exempt role. Starting pay begins at $18.00 per hour. Overtime may be earned for hours beyond 40 per week.
