Start Pay $17 per hour, plus $2 per hour shift differential

Shift Start 7pm Night Shift

Job Overview The Production Associate 1 is responsible for fabricating and assembling component parts for window units. The role is performed in various departments and includes a mix of manual operations, quality assurance, and cross‑training.

• Operate hand tools to manually build window units
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
• Move carts in and out of the production area
• Use various saws to cut wood for window units
• Operate fabrication (punch press) dies
• Apply hardware to units using appropriate tooling
• Operate stretch‑wrapping equipment
• Utilize production reports to assist in planning
• Perform quality audits and participate in problem‑solving activities
• Observe safety, health, and environmental guidelines and wear required PPE
• Participate in cross‑rotation and cross‑training initiatives with other operators
• Assist in training other employees as needed
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor

• Measure lengths accurately to 1/32”
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; convert fractions to decimals
• Read and interpret statistical data and productivity reports
• Analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Use computerized equipment

• Lift 50 lbs on a continual basis and lift above shoulder height and below the waist
• Stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
• Move carts in and out of production areas
