Pilgrim’s is seeking a Live Operations Coordinator to keep inventory of Feed Mill ingredients.

• Oversees daily department operations and drives process improvements.
• Coordinates live bird handling activities, including unloading, drawer movement, and live hang, ensuring humane treatment and compliance with animal welfare standards.
• Oversees equipment and crew rotation within live receiving tasks (e.g., forklift operation, finishing machine support) to maintain workflow efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Promotes open communication and supports a positive work environment.
• Manages scheduling of people, materials, and equipment to meet production needs.
• Conducts performance evaluations and provides consistent feedback across the team.
• Maintains high standards in safety, yield, efficiency, and quality while supporting departmental goals and budgets.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed to support the Plant Operations Team.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma/GED;
  College Degree in related field preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months. Valid Pilgrim’s Pallet jack license or ability to obtain license within 30 days.
• Experience:
  
  1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred;
  Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills:
  
  Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making; must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities, good math skills, basic mechanical knowledge.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday with occasional weekends.

• Base salary range of [MIN-90% of MIDPOINT].
