Live Receiving Supervisor

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Live Operations Coordinator to keep inventory of Feed Mill ingredients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Oversees daily department operations and drives process improvements.
- Coordinates live bird handling activities, including unloading, drawer movement, and live hang, ensuring humane treatment and compliance with animal welfare standards.
- Oversees equipment and crew rotation within live receiving tasks (e.g., forklift operation, finishing machine support) to maintain workflow efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Promotes open communication and supports a positive work environment.
- Manages scheduling of people, materials, and equipment to meet production needs.
- Conducts performance evaluations and provides consistent feedback across the team.
- Maintains high standards in safety, yield, efficiency, and quality while supporting departmental goals and budgets.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed to support the Plant Operations Team.
- Education:
High School Diploma/GED;
College Degree in related field preferred. - Certifications:
Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months. Valid Pilgrim’s Pallet jack license or ability to obtain license within 30 days. - Experience:
1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred;
Poultry or food industry experience is a plus. - Skills:
Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making; must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities, good math skills, basic mechanical knowledge. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday with occasional weekends. - Benefits:
