Production Associate 1 Night Shift - Pennsboro

Full‑time, permanent, night shift (7 pm start). Starting pay: $17 per hour, plus $2 per hour shift differential.

• Operate various hand tools to manually build window units together
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
• Move carts in and out of the production work area
• Operate various types of saws to cut wood necessary to mull units
• Operate fabrication (punch press) dies
• Apply hardware to units with the appropriate tooling
• Operate stretch‑wrapping equipment
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Ensure overall quality of work by performing quality audits and engaging in problem‑solving activities to resolve issues of concern
• Observe applicable safety, health and environmental guidelines; wear all required personal protective equipment
• Participate in cross‑rotation with other operators as needed
• Support the cross‑training initiative by assisting other employees with training as needed
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor

• Measure lengths accurately to 1/32”
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure; convert fractions to decimals
• Read and interpret common statistical data and productivity reports
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Use computerized equipment proficiently

• Lift 50 pounds on a continual basis, including lifting above shoulder height and below waist
• Stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
• Move carts in and out of production areas
