Overview
VISTA members serve towards Education focus in MD, OH, VA & WV to identify, enhance and increase community awareness to mobilize communities to provide the Five Promises to children and youth.
Members will strive to sustain programs by increasing funding to support development.
Member DutiesService duties may include:
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
- Develop media kits, press releases, and public speaking tools
- Organize fundraising events
- Research and write grants
- Organize task forces and conduct outreach
- Create volunteer assignments, manuals, and curriculum
- Build and develop community partnerships & secure partners
- Create infrastructure and evaluation tools
Choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend, stipend, living allowance, training, relocation allowance, childcare assistance if eligible, Health Coverage.
Terms- Permits attendance at school during off hours
