The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Specialty position provides recovery care for inpatient and outpatient surgical patients, as well as patients in the surgery center and anesthesia clinic. Responsibilities include patient monitoring and recovery support in a fast-paced perioperative environment, and collaboration with a team of charge nurses and nurse aides to ensure cases are completed. The role requires flexibility with start times and staying until cases are completed.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience in PACU or related perioperative setting

  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Education and Experience:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications; valid license submitted and willingness to wait for license approval
• EMR

  Sunrise EMR or equivalent
• Other:
  Ability to work a holiday call rotation and weekend/overnight call as required; must provide own navy blue scrubs for the anesthesia clinic
