Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Skilled Nursing for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Type of Facility: SNF/LTC Floor Mix of long term and skilled residents.
# of Beds/Residents: 30 residents per unit (60 total).
Floor:
Private rooms.
EMR:
Point Click Care.
Ratios RN's/LPN's: 1:15.
12 hour shifts (6:45-7:15), every other weekend required; scheduled.
Call or Standby Requirement: NO.
Floating Requirements:
Travel float as needed; travelers will float before CORE staff.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN's navy blue nurses.
Required
Certifications:
CPR (Must have CPR prior to first day).
Common diagnosis / Types of patients:
Inability to care for self, Sepsis, Femur Fx, NSTEMI, CKF, CHF, UTI.
Mix of long term residents and residents here to gain strength to return home.
- LPN:
Pass meds, wound care, Foley/cath care, PEG tube feedings, ostomy care, trache care. - RN:
Take care of IVs, PICC lines, mediports, etc. - Experience/Must have: IVs, PICC lines, mediports, central lines, IV antibiotics, blood, IVF.
- Do RN's read strips? NO.
