As the Nursing Supervisor, you will lead a team of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) providing psychiatric crisis stabilization services. Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, and mental health technicians, you will oversee the delivery of detoxification services, psychiatric and medical evaluations, medication management, and other essential behavioral health services. This position requires strong leadership, sound clinical judgment, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for serving individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Qualifications
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid nursing license in the State of West Virginia
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, crisis stabilization, or substance use treatment preferred
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet operational needs to include on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend coverage
Responsibilities
  • Ensure nursing documentation is completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure documentation accurately reflects each patient's clinical condition and medical needs
  • Verify that physician and other licensed practitioner orders are accurately documented and appropriately implemented
  • Administer and oversee the safe administration of medications
  • Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff
  • Develop and maintain nursing schedules and daily staff assignments to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Promote a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on quality care and safety
