Registered Nurse - Acute Care
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. The unit houses 30 beds with a patient-nurse ratio of 1:6/7. The RN will be responsible for the care of patients with various conditions, including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, and pneumonia.
Provide direct patient care and monitoring.
Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
Titrate drips, including heparin based on APTT results.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Current RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Must be comfortable with a nurse-patient ratio that may increase to 1:7.
