Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.
Join our dynamic Medical Surgical Unit, where you'll provide patient care in a supportive environment. The unit comprises 52 private beds and is equipped to handle various medical and surgical conditions. The Charge Nurse also takes a full patient assignment, supported by a Clinical Assistant during the week.
Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, primarily post-operative patients.
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and medical conditions.
Collaborate with healthcare team members, including Hospitalists and Intensivists available 24/7.
Administer medications and perform treatments (IVs managed by the IV team).
Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Current RN license in the state.
BLS certification required; NIHSS certification required; ACLS is a plus.
Experience in Medical Surgical nursing is highly preferred.
Experience with peritoneal dialysis is highly preferred.
Candidates must submit an unexpired driver's license along with their application.
