Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN – Stepdown for a travel assignment in Wheeling, WV. This role is ideal for a seasoned nursing professional with experience in a high-acuity stepdown unit. You will be working in an acute care setting, providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical needs, including those recovering from cardiovascular surgeries and procedures.

Key responsibilities of the RN – Stepdown include:
- Manage care for patients with bradycardia, A-fib, SVT, CHF, CAD, NSTEMI, and other similar conditions
- Provide post-operative care for procedures such as VATS, lobectomy, wedge resection
- Manage chest tubes and provide betadine dressing changes
- Utilize epicardial pacing
- Titrate drips as ordered, including Cardizem, amiodarone, and procainamide
- Collaborate with charge nurse and utilize hospital resources effectively
Requirements of the RN – Stepdown include:
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with epicardial pacing and chest tubes
- Strong understanding of titratable drips and patient care procedures
