Join a busy 15-suite Surgical Center as a Pre-Op Registered Nurse
. This unit supports 55–70 surgical cases daily and is looking for an experienced RN with strong IV skills and preoperative patient care experience.
- Provide preoperative nursing care for surgical patients
- Perform IV starts and patient assessments
- Prepare patients for a wide variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff
- Float to the OR holding area when needed
- Active RN License (WV or Compact)
- BLS Certification
- Strong IV insertion skills
- Pre-op and surgical nursing experience required
- Robotics experience preferred
- 15 operating suites
- 55–70 surgical cases per day
- Sunrise EMR (transitioning to Epic)
- Facility-provided scrubs
- Supportive perioperative team
- Day shifts (8 or 10 hours): 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Rotating weekends
- 1–2 second-call shifts per month
- Weekend call: 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
- 30-minute call response time
- Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Copy of an unexpired driver's license required at submission
- Any license disciplinary history must be disclosed at submission
- 13-week travel assignment
