RN - Endoscopy

Endoscopy RN Position Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with varied shifts, available as either 8 or 10 hours. Weekend shifts are scheduled as needed.

The Endoscopy RN will function primarily as an intra-operative circulation nurse, providing care during endoscopic procedures without administering sedation. The role requires knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment, ensuring patient safety and effective operation throughout various cases.

• Assist in endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding.
• Maintain thorough patient records and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal care.
• Manage patient flow and support surgical tech staff in the GI lab.
• Participate in on-call duties, typically one weekend per month and additional holidays as scheduled.

• BLS Certification required.
• Experience in endoscopy procedures required.
• Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system is a plus.
