Med/Surg travel nursing job in Wheeling, WV:
Join an acute care team, care for diverse patients, and build valuable clinical experience on a 13-week assignment.

• Position: Registered Nurse
  - Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Wheeling, West Virginia
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Assignment Dates: 09/20/2026 to 12/20/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Charting System: Allscripts

• Active RN license or eligibility to obtain before the start date
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg, acute care, or medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification is a plus
• Experience with peritoneal dialysis preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Provide safe, compassionate care to a varied Med/Surg patient population
• Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and elevate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
• Support recovery for post-operative, neuro, orthopedic, and medical patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive outcomes
• Document care accurately and maintain strong clinical follow-through
• Help maintain a calm, efficient, and patient-centered unit environment
