Construction Material Testing in Wheeling, WV seeks a laboratory technician to turn field samples into numbers under an AASHTO R18 quality system. You’ll work with calibrated equipment, document results, and maintain chain of custody for every test.
Responsibilities include performing ASTM tests (D698, D1557, D2216, D4318, C136, C39), logging data, breaking cylinders, and supporting proficiency programs. Pay ranges $25–$35 per hour with daytime hours and overtime during busy seasons.
