Essential Job Functions

Position:
Bar Back

Primary Responsibilities:

(guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

• Set bars for lounges and receptions according to SOP
• Replenish and order beverages and supplies according to par levels
• Clean and organize bar areas in both front and back of house
• Execute job in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures while incorporating 5 Star, 5 Diamond guidelines
• Ability to convey intelligent, friendly, informative conversation with guest
• Knowledgeable of Greenbrier amenities and social areas

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable of professional bar service
• Knowledgeable of Mixology
• Taking and filling beverage orders
• Taking and filling food orders
• Knowledge of wine and wine presentation

Working Hours:

• Eight hours shifts, five days a week
• Weekends and holidays

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

• Restaurant bus server or waiter trained; previous general kitchen work preferred
