Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location: Travel up to 90 miles from home on average. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule: Monday–Friday. Weekends not required.

Job Type: Per Required Need.

Role

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated Field Service Representative to join our team and represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. The role involves installing, updating, and repairing retail displays, following planograms and client‑specific directives, and using mobile technology to complete assignments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to field services management (within 24 hours of contact).
  • Keep availability up to date and accurate.
  • Complete assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms and surveys before leaving the job site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure functions.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations (team of 2+ people) and provide solution feedback.
  • Manage virtual software and related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist team members as needed.
  • Submit accurate timecards and report anomalies daily.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Complete training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
Qualifications

Age / Eligibility

  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Availability

  • Flexible Monday–Friday.
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
  • Early‑morning and late‑night availability as needed.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork in a rolling 30‑day period.

Physical Abilities

  • Climb a ladder up to 10 feet.
  • Safely lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Able to kneel, walk, crouch, bend, handle, grasp, and reach overhead.

Adaptability

  • Adjust to changing tasks and work environments.

Communication Skills

  • Effective phone, text, and email communication.
  • Use smartphone for clock‑in/out, photo capture, app download, and internet connection.
  • Respond quickly to field services management (within 24 hours).

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial.

Experience Preferred

  • Installation and merchandising experience.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Follow planogram (POG) directives.

Technology

  • Own Android or Apple mobile device.
  • Navigate communication platforms and applications independently.

Training

  • Complete all training assignments within designated time frames.
  • Work collaboratively and autonomously.

Transportation and Travel

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment/shift.

Leadership & Communication

  • Superior leadership and professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Sound decisions, judgment, problem‑solving.
  • Autonomous with strong time management and reporting skills.
Benefits
