Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager/Regional Manager (level dependent on experience) to own and grow customer relationships across the Appalachia region, with a focus on health systems, hospitals, and physician groups. This role is critical in ensuring our customers achieve success with our remote patient management platform while identifying opportunities for strategic account expansion. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the ideal candidate will combine healthcare sales expertise with strong relationship management skills and a passion for improving healthcare access in underserved communities.

This position is a full‑time role based in West Virginia with 20‑40% travel throughout the Appalachia region, reporting to the Director of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage day‑to‑day relationships with assigned health system accounts across the Appalachia region
  • Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive adoption, expansion, and revenue growth
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts to expand platform usage
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to demonstrate value and identify growth opportunities
  • Partner with Product team to gather customer feedback and identify product gaps and enhancement opportunities
  • Collaborate with implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including C‑suite executives, clinical leaders, and IT departments
  • Monitor account health metrics and proactively address potential risks or concerns
  • Travel throughout the region to conduct on‑site visits, training sessions, and executive meetings
  • Represent Prime focus Health at regional healthcare conferences and industry events
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline in CRM system
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform business strategy
Required Qualifications Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 3‑7 years of experience selling to or managing relationships with healthcare providers (hospitals, physician groups, clinics)
  • Understanding of healthcare operations, workflows, and decision‑making processes
  • Knowledge of remote patient monitoring, telehealth, or digital health solutions preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement models and value‑based care initiatives
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security requirements
  • Knowledge of the Appalachia healthcare landscape and regional challenges
Skills
  • Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts in healthcare
  • Strong relationship‑building and customer management abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for various stakeholder levels
  • Strategic account planning and territory management expertise
