United Group Services is seeking an experienced Instrument Fitter to install, assemble, modify, and maintain instrumentation tubing, impulse lines, control systems, and related mechanical components in industrial facilities. The Instrument Fitter works closely with pipe fitters, electricians, and instrumentation technicians to ensure systems are installed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.

• Install and route instrument tubing, impulse lines, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, instrumentation drawings, and construction specifications.
• Install instrument supports, brackets, tubing trays, and associated hardware.
• Bend, cut, thread, and fit stainless steel, copper, and specialty tubing.
• Assemble and install control valves, transmitters, gauges, analyzers, and related instrumentation equipment.
• Perform tubing pressure tests and leak checks.
• Work alongside instrumentation technicians during calibration and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
• Assist with startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting activities as required.
• Complete documentation and reports accurately and timely.

• Minimum 3 years of industrial construction or maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience working in power plants, chemical plants, refineries, steel mills, manufacturing facilities, or data centers preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of instrumentation tubing installation practices and industry standards.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and process control systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, tubing benders, and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
