The West Virginia Department of Education is seeking an Itinerant School Social Worker to work closely with high school administrators and families to address student attendance, behavior, and academic issues. Candidates should possess at least a B.A. in Social Work and be eligible for a West Virginia Social Work license.
This position entails developing community relationships, maintaining staff relations, and promoting strategies to prevent truancy across schools. Preferred candidates will have experience in social work services and a strong commitment to supporting at-risk students.
