Position Status:Full-time
Expected Hours of Work:8:00 am-4:30 pm (M-F). Additional days or hours may be required.

Job Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the designated supervisor, this employee will be part of a team working to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families referred by WVDHS and the courts. This employee is to provide support to families, offering visitation, parenting, assessment, advocacy, referrals, and education focusing on the safety and well-being of children and families.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide parenting education and instruction.
- Monitor visitation and provide an actual, precise description of each visitation through written documentation.
- Maintain a schedule for each family referral to ensure visitation occurs as intended by the Department of Human Services in court.
- Document interactions between each family member by maintaining accurate documentation.
- Provide support care when monitoring visitation (e.g., changing diapers, feeding, and medication).
- Responsible for termination of visits in the event of inappropriate behavior or conditions by a family member with supervisory approval.
- Keep the supervised visitation area clean, neat, and safe.
- Prepare reports for court and attend court hearings as required.
- Provide monthly reports for the Department of Human Services.
- Attend MDT or Treatment Team Meetings as required.
- Transport clients utilizing agency vehicle, as necessary and directed.
- Provide "Socially Necessary Services" to assigned clients.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery and outcomes.
- Provide linkage and referral to meet identified needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Regents Human Services, Education, Criminal Justice, or related four year degree and 2-4 years of experience providing direct services to families.
Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background check. Must have a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance as required by law
