- Criminal background check pursuant to W. Va. Code§18-5-15c, et seq.
- Meet the definition of "Qualifications" pursuant to W. Va. Code§18A-4-8b
- Demonstrate competency pursuant to W. Va. Code§18A-4-8e as required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have at least three (3) years of driving experience as a licensed operator of any vehicle
- Must obtain and maintain a West Virginia CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsement
- Must successfully complete the West Virginia School Bus Safety Program and pass all requisite online and skills tests
- Must maintain a valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
- Must pass a physical examination from a Medical Examiner as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
- Subject to drug and alcohol screenings
- Must meet all requirements outlined in West Virginia State Board of Education Policy 4336, available at (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)..doc

Minimum Requirements:- Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
