Currently assigned to bus number 267, the bus aide works on buses that serve students with special needs and transport them across different school districts. The route is determined by the needs of the students and the school district, with students being delivered to multiple locations. Due to the nature of the students, the bus run must be flexible and may be adjusted at short notice with students added or removed daily.
Between the morning and afternoon runs, the bus aide will enter an assigned school to work as an aide in one or more special education classrooms during the school year.
