Qualifications:
- State Certified Bus Operator
- Hold Commercial Drivers License with P & S Endorsements
- Complete or have completed the 40 Hours of Classroom Training & Driving Requirements
- Hold First Aid Card
- Pass State Mandated Written Test and State Mandated Driving Test
- Department of Motor Vehicles Check Completed and Approved
- Ability to pass physical as required for WV School Bus Operators
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Other as outlined in the Handbook for School Bus Drivers
Additional Requirements:
- Transport students with special needs
- Assist in securing students safely on the bus
Employment Term: 200‑day contract beginning 1st day of the 2026‑2027 school year (position will start and stop at the Bus Garage)
Salary: Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35 % of direct compensation.
