Mechanic Qualifications- Currently holding Commercial Drivers License with P & S Endorsements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Passed or able to pass Mechanics test
- Have or able to acquire Air Brake Certification
- Have or able to acquire State Inspection License
- Experience in diagnostic data retrieval from onboard computers of auto and diesel equipment using dedicated scanners and laptop computers.
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Hold Commercial Drivers License with P & S Endorsements
- Complete or have completed the 40 Hours of Classroom Training & Driving Requirements
- Hold a valid First Aid/CPR Card
- Pass State Mandated Written Test and State Mandated Driving Test
- Department of Motor Vehicles Check Completed and Approved
- Ability to pass physical as required for WV School Bus Operators
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Other as outlined in the Handbook for School Bus Drivers
247 day contract for the 2026/2027 school year
SalarySalary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation. Salary Schedules
