Utility Office Warehouse Clerk

Mountaineer Gas Company is the largest natural gas distribution company in West Virginia with over 220,000 customers and 450 employees. We service fifty (50) of the fifty-five (55) counties in West Virginia and maintain close to 6,000 miles of pipeline.

UTILITY OFFICE WAREHOUSE CLERK - WHEELING SERVICE CENTER (WHEELING, WV)

We are currently recruiting in our Wheeling Service Center, Wheeling, WV, for a Utility Office Warehouse Clerk.

• Enters timesheets into timekeeping system.
• Updates information in Company mapping system.
• Assists with customer collection activities.
• Performs warehousing activities:
  • Inventory Control
  • Stocking Shelves
  • Materials Delivery
  • Forklift Operation
• Updates and maintains unavailable lists for employees.
• Orders supplies, classifies invoices, and performs other clerical duties.
• May perform other customer related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must live within 45 minutes of the service center and maintain residency within that parameter throughout employment in field operations positions.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• The ability to successfully deal with customers and work in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; data entry accuracy; and ability to analyze information.
• Must be able to operate pc/laptop/handheld computer, read maps, and perform warehouse labor activities.
• Proficiency with various computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, WV811 Locate System.
• Union position subject to overtime (scheduled and non-scheduled) and emergency callouts as needed.
