The Opportunity

The Spa at Whistler is a premier wellness destination in the heart of Whistler, BC, offering a range of therapeutic and relaxation treatments. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team and ensure every guest has an exceptional experience.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll create a welcoming and professional atmosphere from the moment they arrive. You’ll work closely with the management team to help the spa run smoothly while sharing your ideas and input in a supportive environment.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who loves connecting with people, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

What you bring to the table:

1+ years of experience in a customer service role preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with computers and software programs; experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus

Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or peak periods

Enthusiasm for creating exceptional guest experiences

A friendly, professional, and positive attitude

What your days will look like

Greet guests upon arrival and check them in for their appointments

Schedule appointments and manage the spa’s appointment book

Handle payments, including processing credit card transactions and issuing receipts

Provide information about spa services and packages

Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Assist with other administrative or operational tasks as needed

Contribute positively to the team and uphold Gibbons Whistler’s core values
