Position: Crane / Telehandler Operator

The Perfect Candidate:
  • Valid Crane Operator Certification in BC (ticketed operator).
  • Minimum 3 years of crane operating experience in construction.
  • Familiarity with various crane types (mobile, tower, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations (WCB and CSA standards).
  • Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and load charts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Operate tower cranes and telehandler safely and efficiently.
  • Lift, move, and position materials according to project plans.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and report any hazards.
  • Coordinate with ground crews, supervisors, and other trades.
  • Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and maintenance activities.
