As an apprentice, you will gain invaluable experience diagnosing vehicle issues and performing necessary repairs. Key tasks include routine maintenance, managing service records, and collaborating effectively with technicians and drivers. Technical skills and attention to safety are essential as you progress toward your Journeyperson certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Use diagnostic tools for vehicle repair and maintenance
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance and inspections
• Work closely with a team to meet shop needs
• Communicate effectively in a collaborative environment
• Conduct on-site repairs as needed
Requirements:
• Registered 4th Year Apprentice status
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a shop
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with few demerit points
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of OH&S rules and safety practices
