Salary Range / Hourly Rate$25 per hour.
Dates of ESYJune 10, 2026 (Set Up) and June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 for ESY programming.
Proposed ESY Programming DaysMonday‑Friday per the ESY calendar; proposed times: 8:50 am‑12:35 pm. Dates, times, and location may change based on student and/or district needs.
Student LevelEarly Childhood Special Education, with possibility of adjustment to other age groups based on need.
Position SummaryThe school district is seeking para educators to work in the Extended School Year program. Responsibilities include intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with special‑needs students individually or in small groups, and related duties as assigned. Work is performed under moderate supervision of ESY teachers and the Student Support Services Administrators.
Education and /or ExperienceHigh‑school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate’s or technical degree preferred.
Special Requirements- Must hold an AA/AS degree, have completed 60 semester credits or passed the MN Parapro test.
- Training in Blood‑Borne Pathogens.
- Valid driver’s license in the State of Minnesota.
- Experience working with White Bear Lake Area Schools cluster programs preferred.
- ESY experience (Preferred).
