Salary Rate: $4180
Hours/Time of Day: 3 hours per day / Time varies
Qualifications- Dynamic, highly qualified candidates to serve as assistant Boys Track coach.
- Desired to have successful high school and/or collegiate level coaching experience.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and local community.
- A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.
Head Varsity Boys Track Coach and the White Bear Lake Area High School Athletics/Activities Directors who provide overall job objectives and observe performance.
ObjectivesTo instruct student‑athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for success. Concurrently, provide instruction that leads to moral values, pride, acceptable behavior, self‑discipline, and confidence. Demonstrate substantial knowledge of the sport’s technical aspects and establish positive relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Generate an attitude of fair play under the Minnesota State High School League “Code of Ethics.”
- Carry out responsibilities of an assistant coach.
- Be in regular attendance at all competitions and training sessions.
- Instruct student‑athletes in rules, rule changes, new developments, and innovative coaching ideas.
- Have understanding knowledge of rules and regulations as presented by the Minnesota State High School League.
- Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of White Bear Lake Area Schools.
