Program Dates & Times*
- Session 1: July 6–16
- Session 2: July 20–30
* Teachers may apply to teach one or both sessions. If teaching one session only, please indicate the teacher you plan to partner with.
- Programs will run Monday-Thursday.
- Student contact day will be 7:15-1:30.
- Professional development will take place the week of June 23rd.
- If applicant has a conflicting work schedule with programs such as ESY, make-ups for the trainings and orientations will be available.
Teachers are able to set-up their classrooms any day June 23rd or after.
Daily Schedule & Student Experience
- Students participate in Phy-Ed and enrichment classes as part of their regular daily schedule.
- Site Coordinators manage schedules and will communicate enrichment times in advance.
Schedule components will be provided. Classroom schedules are managed by teachers and communicated to students/support staff.
Work Days/Times: Student contact time will be Mon‑Thurs from 7:15am‑1:30pm. Teachers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the day and stay 10‑15 minutes after to ensure student safety. 30 minutes of additional and flexible prep time will be allotted per day of teaching.
Student Level: Elementary Current K-3
Camp Summer Elementary Sites: North Star, Otter Lake, Lakeaires
Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Schedule for pre‑summer professional development and meetings will be determined by May 2026 or sooner.
Seeking teachers interested in utilizing new, creative, and innovative ways to support student achievement through the development of a summer camp learning model. Program will focus on whole student growth and success, building and strengthening strong relationships with students and their families, and supporting social emotional learning. Will be opportunity for some curriculum development and more influence in teaching content. Pre‑summer training, prep time, and meetings will be paid time;
professional development and program design created in partnership with Student Support Services and Teaching & Learning.
Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal.
Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.
Teachers will deliver small group and individualized instruction according to curriculum and plan guidelines; will maintain student records as it relates to student achievement including testing; will monitor student behavior.
Education and /or ExperienceBA/BS degree and Middle school experience preferred.
Special RequirementsMN Teaching License required.
