We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic LTS Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) teacher to join our innovative high school team. Applicants with the ability to acquire a Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 FACS Education License are encouraged to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art high school building, supporting a diverse range of students and fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The successful will help students develop essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes, providing a solid foundation for future learning. The role involves using a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring that every student can answer "yes" to the questions:
Do I belong here? Is this meaningful? Can I do this?
Key responsibilities include providing instruction at various levels, developing student skills, and working closely with students to ensure success. The position is under the limited supervision of the Principal.
QualificationsBA or BS in Education.
Special RequirementsMinnesota Teaching License Required (FACS)
