Initial review of applicants will occur on March 9, 2026. All candidates submitting after that date will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. The position will close on April 30th at midnight.

Program runs July 6th to July 30th. Set‑up and meetings will be held in the two weeks prior to programming, with a virtual option available. Programming runs Monday through Thursday. Pre‑program professional development and site meetings will be held prior to the first session and may require up to four half‑days of additional time.

Program hours are 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., with an additional 30 minutes of prep time each day. Schedule for pre‑summer professional development and meetings will be determined by mid‑May 2026.

Seeking teachers interested in utilizing new, creative, and innovative ways to support student achievement through summer learning opportunities. The program focuses on whole‑student growth and success, building strong relationships with students and families, and supporting social‑emotional learning. Teachers will have opportunities for curriculum development and greater influence in teaching content. Pre‑summer training, prep time, and meetings are paid and will be created in partnership with Student Support Services and Teaching & Learning.

• Deliver small‑group and individualized instruction according to curriculum and plan guidelines.
• Maintain student records related to achievement, including testing.
• Monitor student behavior.
• Work under the limited supervision of the Principal; may exercise occasional oversight of paraprofessionals or volunteers.

BA/BS degree and middle‑school experience preferred.

MN Teaching License required.
