Salary: $210 per day per Non‑Affiliated Rates of Pay. TRA, FICA, Medicare, Single medical, if working over 94 days.

Start Date: 2026‑27 School Year

Closing Date: The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Work Week: Works every student contact day, 8 hours per day.

White Bear Lake Area High School is seeking a reliable and flexible Building Substitute to work on-site daily, providing classroom coverage for grades 9–12. This role involves delivering a broad range of teaching services, assisting students in developing skills, attitudes, and knowledge for future learning, and adapting instruction to meet individual needs using various teaching methods. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in teaching, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills, and model our district's core values of respect, learning, and community.

Short call sub license required; full-time teaching license preferred.
