Automation-Driven Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

Tru North Automation is looking to increase growth in its engineering department. Ideal candidate is self-driven and energetic with a learner mindset. You will be using CAD to develop a design from a conceptual state into a manufacture-ready, sophisticated piece of automation equipment. Then following that design through the build phase, all the way to customer acceptance.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field with minimum GPA of 3.0
• Practical experience within an internship, co-op, or team related to mechanical design
• Hold effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Competent in MS Office:
  Excel, Word, Power Point
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Solid Works or other 3D CAD system is preferred
• Experience with mechanics, mechanical design, automation and/or robotics a plus
• Able to travel by air or car (estimated 5% max.)
• US citizen or authorization to work permanently for any Employer in the United States
