Tire and Battery Center Team Leader

Position Summary

As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead you will drive member service in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver safe and efficient services. You will model expertise in Tire and Battery Center and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Be a Team Leader – supervise the team within the Tire and Battery Center to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club; communicate goals, set guidelines and expectations for tire and battery service; execute company programs; adhere to policies; advocate for the member, the associate, and the company.
• Be an Expert – maintain in-depth knowledge of business on the floor, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS and related systems, recalls, product specifications, and seasonality; train the team and ensure knowledge of new products and technologies.
• Be a Techie – leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, product information, and training.
• Be an Owner – drive business results, maintain operational excellence, keep the work area neat, clean, and safe; manage equipment, tools, and supplies within budget; monitor inventory, complete paperwork, and model commitment to member service; assist in staffing and scheduling and support member service on the floor.
• Be a Talent Ambassador – train and coach the team, monitor elearnings/trainings, identify potential in others, develop skill sets, and encourage career growth; attract and source new talent as needed.
• Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and partners, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrate and promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; explain and apply these in daily operations and help management address issues.
• Lead and participate in teams by using resources to determine customer needs and priorities, coordinate work, provide feedback and support, and help others adapt to change.

• 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in the automotive industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Supervisory experience, Tire Industry experience.
• Tire Industry Certification – Certificate.
