- • Design, fabricate, assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot parts or tools for stamped components and other products
- • Design, assemble, and troubleshoot production and testing tools
- • Use precision measuring devices to fabricate parts and build prototypes and tooling
- • Set up and operate CNC and manual tool room equipment
- • Collaborate with engineering and internal and external designers to improve products and tooling
- • Maintain accurate tool room records, tool numbering, and inventory levels
- • Maintain tool room and major shop equipment according to procedures
- • Understand engineering objectives and design intent and provide feedback
- • Resolve tooling-related issues on the production floor
- • Assist with cross-training and train new hires and temporary staff
- • Follow training requirements and maintain a clean, safe work area
- • Perform other assigned duties
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 2-year technical/apprenticeship training or school preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Ability to work standard hours set for the position.
- Ability to work onsite in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
- Availability for 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30-11:00 PM.
Demonstrates expertise in designing, fabricating, and troubleshooting tools and components, with a strong focus on precision measurement and CNC operation. Capable of collaborating with engineering teams and training staff while maintaining accurate records and a safe work environment.
