Optical Team Member

• Provide member service: acknowledge the member, identify needs, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues and concerns, and promote Company products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation: stock merchandise, set up cleaning and organizing product displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise appropriately, and secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
• Maintain the optical sales floor in accordance with Company policies: handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise in the optical area, organize and maintain the area following Company procedures, utilize equipment appropriately, complete paperwork logs and other required documentation.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Sell optical products and services: assist members with purchasing decisions, measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses, complete eyewear and contact lens orders, identify and verify prescription information, complete and maintain required paperwork, collect payments for doctor services, and perform and record results of optometric pre‑tests.

Competitive pay: hourly wage range $19.50 to $27.50 (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location).

Additional compensation may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
