Tire and Battery Service Advisor

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety by conducting regular safety sweeps, adhering to forklift and hazardous material handling requirements, and promptly reporting unsafe situations.
• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandise the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor in accordance with company policies, including claims, returns, shrink, and damage handling.
• Present and maintain merchandise displays by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and removing damaged goods; signing and pricing merchandise appropriately; securing fragile and high‑shrink items.
• Monitor tire and battery orders daily, assist members with installation appointments, communicate lead‑time changes or cancellations, and recommend alternative solutions and tire fitments.
• Provide expert member service by greeting members, identifying needs, recommending proper products and services, explaining warranties, and resolving concerns.
• Drive sales and service excellence in the TBC by communicating product value and collaborating with associates across the club to promote member awareness.
• Triage and prioritize service workflow in the service bays; determine time requirements, maximize efficiency, and suggest adjustments to the team lead or technicians as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, phone, and in‑person selling techniques.
• Leverage technology to enhance operations: use digital tools and handheld devices for sales planning, real‑time decisions, product knowledge, and tool adoption.
• Act as a brand advocate, model high‑quality service, develop and mentor teammates, and aid in training and overcoming roadblocks.
• Operate TBC equipment safely, perform vehicle service requests and tests, handle merchandise receipts, storage, and disposal, and maintain required documentation.
• Process customer purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for various membership and payment types via POS hardware.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; uphold integrity, accountability and commitment to Walmart’s values and regenerative goals.
• Communicate progress, identify priorities, and recommend improvement opportunities while adapting to change and learning from feedback.

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Preferred:
  Auto service industry experience;
  Retail experience.

• Competitive salary range: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour (may exceed minimum wage applicable to the location) plus potential premiums ($0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
