The Lube Technician is an entry-level position responsible for acquiring the skills and techniques to perform a variety of services safely and properly on customers' vehicles, contributing to our team’s success. Candidates will be trained in the company’s method for job acceleration and growth for their career path while maintaining excellent service and technical/mechanical skills for the customer.
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for entry level to skilled Lube Technicians that want to learn and are eager to grow with us.
We are looking for people who want to learn or know how to do the following:
- General Vehicle Maintenance, including:
- Replacing air and cabin filters, light bulbs, and windshield wipers.
- Checking and adjusting, if necessary, under‑hood fluid levels.
- Testing, servicing, and replacing vehicle batteries.
- Washing windshields and adjusting tire pressure.
- Performing visual safety checks and looking for fluid leaks.
- Maintaining industry safety guidelines.
- Timely attendance and accurate time record‑keeping.
- Basic shop maintenance and daily cleaning.
- Basic understanding of how to use a computer and register.
- Following established grooming standards and uniform guidelines. Uniform shirts, jacket and belt are provided.
- Supporting a respectful and healthy workplace environment.
- Performing essential duties with no damage to vehicles.
- Perform general center maintenance and cleaning, including mopping, window washing, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice removal, cleaning restrooms and other customer and employee areas as applicable to location.
- Complete all required training for the position.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Driver’s License
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing; ability to perform basic math.
- Able to safely and properly use mechanical tools without damaging vehicles.
- Demonstrate self‑accountability, teamwork, willingness, and ability to learn.
