Assistant Coach - Boys Track and Field

Location: White Bear Lake Area High School

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $4180

Hours: 3 hours per day / Time varies

White Bear Lake Area High School seeks a highly qualified candidate to serve as assistant Coach. Candidates should have successful high school and/or collegiate level coaching experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and commitment to develop positive relationships with the local community. A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.

Head Varsity Boys Track Coach and the Athletics/Activities Directors.

To instruct student‑athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for individual and team success. The Coach will also support development of moral values, pride, social behavior, self‑discipline and confidence.

• Generate an attitude of fair play and adhere to the Minnesota State High School League Code of Ethics.
• Carry out responsibilities of an assistant coach.
• Maintain regular attendance at all competitions and training sessions.
• Instruct student-athletes on rules, rule changes, new developments and innovative coaching ideas.
• Maintain knowledge of Minnesota State High School League rules and regulations.
• Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of White Bear Lake Area Schools.
