Warehouse Associate, Portland - Night Shift​/GTP - Part Time

Job Overview

As a Warehouse Colleague you will be a critical part of our Supply Chain team where we drive success across the Supply Chain organization using a Four Pillars Strategy. You will support processes online order fulfillment for Macy's and Bloomingdale's customers and work full‑time or part‑time depending on business needs.

• Receiving and Unloading: receive, prepare, put away, pick, sort, pack and ship merchandise safely, productively and accurately.
• Technology: use PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment or other devices accurately and productively, learning area‑specific functions within multiple systems.
• Equipment: operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other equipment as needed.

• No education or experience required.
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
• Read, understand and interpret employment policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English.
• Self‑starter who adapts quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
• Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Prolonged walking and standing up to the duration of the scheduled shift (excluding breaks).
• Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.
• Ability to reach, including above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop and maintain color vision.
• Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Ability to hear and see safety/emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck warning devices to ensure safety while on the warehouse floor.
