Warehouse Associate, Portland - Part Time

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Portland distribution center as a part‑time team member. The role supports online order fulfillment for Macy's and Bloomingdale's customers. Full‑time colleagues typically work 30+ hours, while part‑time colleagues work 12‑24 hours per week.

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in our Supply Chain team, executing essential processes for online orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe workplace.

• Receive, prepare, put away, pick, sort, pack, and ship merchandise safely and accurately.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts; maintain proper handling of equipment.
• Use handheld computers, radio frequency devices, and other tech to record inventory and fulfill orders.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet productivity goals and maintain a positive environment.
• Interpret and follow safety rules, employment policies, and procedural manuals in English.
• Adhere to company standards for customer communication and teamwork.

• No formal education or experience required.
• Proficient with computers and handheld technology.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions, safety rules, and operational manuals in English.
• Self‑starter with adaptability to changing priorities.
• Flexible availability—days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb.

• Prolonged walking & standing throughout shift, excluding breaks.
• Frequent use of computer and handheld devices.
• Reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop as needed.
• Color, depth, and close vision required.
