Position: ORISE Fellow (AI in Drug Development Research) in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), FDA, located in White Oak, Maryland.

• Conduct a systematic review of AI use in drug and biologic approvals from 2016–2026.
• Develop a database and interactive dashboard (e.g., Power BI) to track AI usage in regulatory submissions.
• Create training materials, seminars, and capacity‑building resources to standardize reviewer feedback and upskill staff on AI.
• Disseminate findings through peer‑reviewed manuscripts, white papers, and conference presentations.

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or computational field obtained within the last 60 months or currently pursuing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or R).
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
• Interest in regulatory science and AI applications.

• Appointment start date:
  September 1 2026 (flexible).
• Appointment length:
  One year, with possibility of renewal contingent on funding.
• Full‑time position with monthly stipend commensurate with experience.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents; non‑U.S. citizens may apply if eligible under guidelines.
