Overview
An ORISE Fellowship opportunity within the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), FDA, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. The fellowship focuses on FDA’s Medical Acoustics Program ensuring safe medical acoustic devices through therapeutic/diagnostic and transcranial sub‑programs covering brain treatments, tumor ablation, pain management and cardiovascular care.
Appointment DetailsAnticipated start date: 2026 (flexible). Appointment length: initially one year, with possible renewal. Full‑time. Monthly stipend commensurate with educational level and experience.
Learning Objectives- Investigate transcranial safety

Must be 18 years of age - Citizenship: U.S. citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or foreign national with a valid immigration status as specified by FDA requirements.
Participant receives a monthly stipend commensurate with educational level and experience. Proof of health insurance is required. No employment‑related benefits are provided. Background investigation by the Office of Personnel Management is required; applicants must have resided in the United States for at least three of the past five years.
