Tax Accountant

My client, a growing boutique CPA firm dedicated to providing personalized and high-quality tax and advisory services to a diverse client base, including individuals, small businesses, and startups. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in tax preparation and planning, enjoys solving complex problems, and values working in a supportive, people‑first environment.

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)
• Assist with tax planning strategies for clients throughout the year
• Conduct tax research and stay current on relevant tax law changes
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and provide ongoing support
• Support senior CPAs and partners with special projects and advisory engagements
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and filing requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA‑track preferred)
• 2+ years of relevant public accounting or tax experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client‑service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close‑knit team
