Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team in White Plains, New York. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for financial accuracy. As a key contributor, you will ensure the smooth management of accounting tasks while supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain and update financial data efficiently.

- Monitor and record transactions to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

- Prepare and organize financial reports for management review.

- Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit purposes.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

- Support the team with special accounting projects as needed.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

- Coordinate with external parties, such as vendors and auditors, to resolve financial discrepancies. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with preparing financial reports and maintaining audit-ready records.

- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
