Senior Property Accountant

White Plains, NY (On-Site) | $110,000 - $125,000/year

A growing real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant ready to take the next step into an Accounting Manager-level role. This position offers the opportunity to oversee accounting operations for a multifamily portfolio of approximately 1,500 units, manage two direct reports, and work closely with finance leadership.

• Manage full-cycle property accounting, including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Review AP, AR, tenant ledgers, and bank reconciliations
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and support forecasting
• Supervise a Junior Accountant and Accounting Administrator
• Support audits, process improvements, and ongoing Yardi Voyager optimization

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate or multifamily
• Experience with financial statement preparation and month-end close
• Yardi Voyager experience preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
