• Prepareandpostjournalentries;maintaingeneralledgeraccuracyandsupportatimely,reliablemonth-endclose.
• Ownreconciliationsacrossbankaccounts,companycreditcards,andkeybalancesheetaccounts.
• Ownday-to-daycreditcardandemployeeexpensemanagement—enforcingjob/cost-codecoding,receipts,approvals,andspendpolicy,reconcilingthecreditcardliability,andbookingaccrualsatclose(workinginMiterand Sage Intacct ).
• Owntheflowandreconciliationofcreditcarddatafrom Miterinto Sage Intacct ;investigateandresolvesyncdiscrepancies.
• Manage sales-and-usetaxbyproject—maintainexemption,resale,and capital-improvementcertificates;determinetaxabilityofpurchasesandbillings;accrueandreconcileusetax;andsupportmulti-state(NY/TX) sales/usetaxfilings.
• Recordandreconcilejob-costtransactions;supportprojectaccountingandwork-in-progress(WIP) schedules.
• AssistwithaccountsreceivableandAIA/progressbillingasneeded.
• Prepareaccountanalysesandsupportingschedules;assistwithaudit,review,andtaxrequests.
• Helpreengineeranddocumentaccountingprocessestoimproveaccuracy,controls,and scalability.

• Bachelor'sdegreein
  
  Accountingor
  
  Finance required.
• Hands-onSageIntacctexperiencepreferred—youshouldbecomfortableworkingintheGL,reconciliations,andreportingwithin
  
  Intacctondayone.
• 2–4yearsofgeneralaccountingexperience;constructionorproject-basedindustryexperiencestronglypreferred.
• Solidunderstandingofgeneral-ledgeraccounting,reconciliations,andthemonth-endclose.
• Experience with Miter,Sage Construction Management ,orotherconstruction/payrollsystemsaplus;genuineinterestinsystemintegrationsandprocessimprovement.
• Strong Excelskillsandasystems-minded,detail-oriented approach.
• Workingknowledgeofconstructionsales-and-usetaxandexemption-certificatemanagementastrongplus.
• CPAoractiveCPAcandidacyastrongplus
